Yeah, that’s what I kindda figured but apparently there is a two cam mix out there. I think I’m gonna hold off on the DVDs until we get a couple nice multicam mixes. I really like the one from the warm up gig at the LA Forum, February 8 but the audio isn’t the greatest in my opinion. I’ll collect the audio but wait a little bit on the video.

I’ve got a couple of different video sources headed my way (that aren’t on youtube), and I haven’t even started contacting anyone on toutube yet about the Indy show. When it’s all said and done, I’ll be putting together what will be a really nice Indy DVD. But I am also working on the Detroit show and I kind of want to finish that one first.

Ratt Trader(290) | I would have to think there are dozens of complete or near complete sources in a crowd that size. The problem is how many people are willing to give it up, and smart enough to figure out how to get you the files. I have emailed and PM’ed so many people on Youtube for their Ratt source files, and have yet to find one who was even the least bit technically inclined and able to send me the full file. Oh well, maybe Van Halen fans are smarter than Ratt fans.

If you find someone with some really nice footage, but they are technically challenged and can’t figure out how to upload to a file sharing site (which is common), you have to come up with a different plan. I haven’t lost any SD cards (yet!), but one way is to mail them an SD card and provide a self-addressed and stamped return envelope. I figure if they were able to get the videos from their SD card to youtube – they can probably transfer them to another SD card. Also – another important aspect of it is how you ask them. And you also have to give them the impression that you’re doing it as a fan – and not as a bootlegger trying to make money.

Vince G.(2255) | I started downloading this show @ JTT once I got to the hotel at 7 pm. It’s now after 11:30 pm, and I’m stuck at 50.3%. All the seeders vanished, and the numbers went to “0″. WTF?!?!?
