This is hysterical, amazing and shocking at the same time. I saw Steel Panther last summer at the House Of Blues in Hollywood and they are AMAZING LIVE!!! This kid should team up with that Japan guitarist “Yuto” who played Crazy Train on the Ellen Degeneres show, in which Ozzy came out at the end, AND who has played with Ozzy on tour. Aidan and Yuto would have a kick ass band. All they need is a 12 year old Neil Peart and they are set. Thanks for the video. I LOVE watching this stuff.

It was the top story at Yahoo! a couple of days ago, too.

Did anyone else think it was a little strange the kid never stood up? I can barely play guitar and it’s definitely easier for me to be sitting, but if I were on a stage, I think I’d stand? Anyway, it made me wonder a bit if he has ever played while standing.

Maybe, he can’t play as well standing up? I can’t.

It makes sense that he would be more comfortable sitting, as most begin learning to play sitting down. Besides, since he’s just a kid, his hands are small, and it can be helpful sitting down.
