This recording is from the February 14, 1984, performance in Charlotte and it’s an outstanding audience recording.

The sound is clear and robust. While it might not be mistaken for a soundboard recording in terms of its tonal quality, it has no sense of being sparse or distant. Especially the vocals of Dave, they are so vivid, like a soundboard recording, with every word of the lyrics clearly audible. Of course, it’s not only the incredible vocals that stand out, the performance sounds are also without any complaint.
