Received a few more of the Definitive VH shows from ’78. Was going to torrent them, but apparently there was a MD transfer in the mix on the original source, so it’s “lossy” and I can’t share them. So, if anyone is interested in a Dropbox link, PM me.

I have Definitive Ipswitch, Definitive Hammersmith and Definitive Tokyo’s On Fire as well as Definitive Manchester, all from May-June 1978.

Are they really upgrades? Do you notice a vast improvement?

“Improvement” is in the ear of the beholder. You’ll have to listen and decide for yourself, I guess. I think they sound great.

Some are better than others. Some I would consider a MUST upgrade. Others, not as much. As Voo said, your reception may vary.
