I’m not a guitar guy. What type of guitar is Eddie playing in that cover image? Looks like a Gibson to me. Is it a Les Paul?

Yes. Gibson Les Paul.

Ha ha, I’m less of a guitar guy than Ron because I thought Gibson and Les Paul were two different things. For me it was like you were asking if it’s a Ford or a Chevy…

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

Slightly higher pitch than the “Definitive” CD and clearer highs.

From another non-guitar knowledge guy……what specific songs did he use the Les Paul on?

That’s a good question. I’m assuming he used it on YRGM and ATBL, since he used the Destroyer for those in the studio. Anything without tremolo is the best guess and it would also be the songs right after his solo, since he guitar was usually out of tune afterwards and he would swap to the Destroyer or Les Paul.

In this show, I’d say YRGM and maybe DOA, but I’d have to listen to it again to be sure. I know he usually did a lot of whammy work in DOA, so if he does, it’s not the Les Paul.
