What can I say, it really couldn’t have gone any better. No screamers, whistlers, talkers, or any other frustrations. No traffic in front of me, so no “phasing” or anything. Just a good capture of a GREAT show.
This show had much more “chemistry” between the band members than either one of the shows I saw in 2007/2008. Dave was much more “Dave-like”, and not nearly as reserved as the prior tour. I guess he feels like he’s really got the gig again, and is back to being his natural-born bad-ass self. That’s fine with me,’cuz this show kicked ass! On it now…also I did a cover for it…like post 107 or something like that! Just look for Alizee to be shakin’ her ass!

Motley Crue did the same thing on the last tour…………came on stage while the house lights were still on without warning. The only clue was they played a David Bowie song right before it. If someone can post what song VH plays over the PA before they take the stage (assuming it doesn’t change) that will help the tapers.

What’s the total time for the arcme262 show ?

I combined the threads for these two recordings because I thought they were one and the same – and that two people had separately posted them at the same time. I didn’t realize at the time that they were different. I don’t know if it’s better to have separate threads or not. I would imagine it’s going to get kind of crowded, so maybe keeping all recordings for each show in a single thread is a good idea. Whatever seems to work best.

I just recreated the other thread and deleted it from here…anyways all posts are related to the one with samples and plus I tried the split thing on another thread and I presume I need practice..lol

Which of the two did you prefer? I downloaded both but haven’t really compared them yet.

I think the two naturally compliment each other. One has strong vocals but not much guitar or low-end, and the other one has what is lacking in the first one. I’m going to see if I can combine the whole show. Working on it now.

I’ve done a few Matrix and have had some good luck, I considered it for this one but I figured other people would be doing it too.

Right now it’s 2 camera angles, but it may expand to 3 or 4 angles by the time this makes its way to DVD and/or bluray. Right now, between the 2 angles, we have 15 of the 24 songs played. And excellent audio, of course, thanks to ironchef!
