- The show was spread out into four sections so I left the natural gaps, so anyone who wants to do any additional editing can do so with the entire recording.

- The breaks are, unfortunately, in the middle of the solos and almost at the end of Unchained, which is kind of a bummer as a chunk of Eddie’s solo is missing and the ending to Unchained is cut instead of being backed up and rerecorded, so you can’t really blend Unchained into the whole show seamlessly. I left the break and tracked it as well, so as Unchained ends, there is a brief gap, then the audio picked up again for about :48 as that song ends and they jam before One Way to Rock and then I track at the start of that song.

- Eddie opens the solo with the into to “Big Trouble/Big River” and goes into “Little Guitars Intro”, which he either didn’t do very often with Hagar or I just forgot about all together.

- The quality is what it is. I didn’t do anything to try to clean this up. I’ll leave that to anyone who may want to do so, but I’m sure there is a cleaner version of this circulating out there.

I remember a few occurrences of Big Trouble & Little Guitars intro during Ed’s solo spot on that tour, followed by a little blues jam reminiscent of his 84 solo. That’s cool to hear some variety along with the classics Spanish Fly/Cathdral/Eruption. He even played a brief excerpt of Drop Dead Legs intro in Sweden ’93, really unexcpected.

LOL! I say that all the time. I usually narrow it down. “Excellent”, “Good” or “Poor”. The whole VG-, VG, VG+, etc.. was kind of silly in my opinion.

Actually, those ratings are very helpful given the wide range of shows out there with different quality issues.

A VG+ show might have a fuller sound & a VG- show might have a distorted sound or was recorded further back in the arena.

I’ve seen shows over the years rated as EX+ when they were more like VG+. Consider a VG+ to be the equivalent of an MP3

& EX to be more like a WAV or FLAC file.

Yeah, I just did this one for myself and didn’t do checksums. I have no clue what the linage is either. I bought hundreds of shows from Arvid back in the 90s. These are all of his masters.
