Maybe I’m being optimistic but for the first time in a long time I feel really confidant that will see some new music again and soon. I have nothing to back this up of course but the signs are there;

1) Ed is happy, healthy and appears sober
2) Wolfie is “driving the bus” for new music, taking control of listening to his Dad’s massive collection of unheard music
3) Dave has said he is anxious to write new music with Ed
4) Ed has always said he wasn’t interested in touring without having some new music for the fans
5) The response to the last album was almost universally positive (critics and fans)

I know it sounds crazy, but I wonder if Wolf wants to blaze his own trail eventually. He obviously has the chops but is on record as bass being his third instrument.

Would be kinda cool to see VH do a Mr Big kinda thing where Ed and Wolf swap instruments for a song or two.

Dave did say in a interview they planned to hit the studio at the end on June but as with VH we know things can change.
I think it would be the perfect time for new material they all getting along , playing great and Daves’s voice sounds great.
But also after not having them in Australia for 15 years I know how the VH fans around the World are wanting more shows so I hope it happens for them.
Sounds like Jeff at VHND has a insight into what will happen.So we’ll see what comes out in the next few weeks.

I think Wolf could go and do his own thing and still be a part of recording a new VH record. A lot of musicians are able to juggle being in 2-3 bands. I hope for a new album and tour for 2014. In the mean time though give us a live dvd.
