Yeah, I figured it wasn’t anything special for some people here, but it’s in a form that’s easy to listen to, and some might find it enjoyable just because they don’t have to dig out a CD.

IDK for sure what gear Ed used to record the basic tracks for the Simmons demo. They were done in LA, so it seems logical to me that he used his own gear. Why wouldn’t he use it?

I think the person who’d know and be easiest to get an answer out of is Mike Anthony. Surely he’d recall if he used his own gear. I didn’t ask him that question when I interviewed him.

That said, I think readers will be pleased with the new information about the whole Simmons episode that I’ve got coming in the book. Thanks for the kind words. I can’t wait for everyone to read it.
