Whatever the real reasons are for Motley Crue’s impending retirement, Vince Neil says fans can count on him to keep on “carrying the torch” for the band’s music. And it looks like he’ll be doing it from the road soon, as part of a co-headlining tour that will include Sammy Hagar.

Neil shared the news during a recent interview with Vegas Rocks! Magazine, responding to the question of his post-Crue plans by saying, “I have my own stuff. I have my solo band, and we have a lot of touring coming up. And actually, it looks like me and Sammy Hagar are gonna go out together for a long tour next year. I’ll be carrying the torch for Motley Crue when Motley Crue is done.”
