kaloway: I got my VIP using a master card

That’s why I said it’s the AMEX Preferred Seating, not VIP. For the past few days you could only purchase with AMEX for many shows.

Nice one bro…You’ll have a great time.
Wish I was heading over. A mate is going to 2 shows in Canada doing the front row VIP package.

VIP Package sales supposedly close about 10 days ahead of the show date. So those looking to pick up a “VIP” seat at a better price, should start looking about then.

There was a guy at the Chicago 4/1/2012 show standing in the front row next to Ron that got a front row ticket for face value by walking up to the box office just before the show and asking for a ticket. He took crappy camera phone pics the entire show which made it so I had to shoot around him all night long … which kind of sucked. Still got a good video though.

Damn, middle section row 4 (D) for July 7 show are now $150… Couldn’t bring myself to wait, though. Maybe next tour.

What is normal price for this ticket?
Not the sound check package?

They were $950 or $995 or something like that when tix first went on sale. I got some $150 tix in row P side section a long time ago. Nothing in the front middle section was originally below $450.

Guy at links did the VIP package at San Bernardino.

soundcheck started 4:50, (20 min late). I forgot to mention they played DDL also.
It’s expensive, but if you have the cash available it’s good. I have another show to atend with no VIP, my wife is joking that we need to score them again. amazing seats (2nd row center), no lines, no stress. The only thing missing is a meet and greet. If they tour again, I’d consider doing it another time. I have photos on the camera, i’ll upload them when I return to Brazil.

I am doing the VIP front row package for Hartford for 995.00 and I am wondering if there will be any opportunity while backstage to meet the guys or at least get a quick pic with Edward….

anyone know if this has happened at any of the VIP shows as of yet other than just seeing the soundcheck?

AFAIK, what is listed is exactly what you get.

From looking at the tour photos, a few people did manage to get selfies with Ed. But short of hearing the story behind the pics, it’s hard to say how they came about. Those guys might have just gotten lucky and caught them at the hotel … getting out of the limo when entering the venue … etc.

Or maybe Ed actually did it before/after the soundcheck. Like I said … hard to say.

Whatever the case, it doesn’t come with the VIP package, so it sounds like you just have to get lucky.

I hope you record the soundcheck.
