This is in “Trade Chat”, but I’m not aware of any particular advantage Gmail may give you in trading.

Well, it’s like any other free email account, ie hotmail. I have a g-mail account for youtube and the android market for my phone. Not sure why but about a year ago I needed to get a gmail account to access my youtube page. I take it was because google bought youtube.

its pretty much a free email account for google… like yahoo has yahoo mail… and aol has aol mail … etc…
