Well this is a fine opportunity after watching that video do drop some thoughts…
Some people said he is only here because of his name. If there was a band named Mammoth with the same music and Wolf was John Smith, I would have never listened to the band. I’m 53 and unfortunately new music rarely catches on with me. Mammoth came out and I listened to it BECAUSE it was WVH. I figured wtf, lets give it a try. Blown away. True to form II was even better. I am so excited for III to be completed. In concert? Even better. Acoustic shows, NAILED IT (so many bands fail here because the show is based on pure sound and talent). I feel excited when the band comes to the area to catch a live show and waiting on new music. This interview is his evolution in getting much more comfortable with the limelight and confidence in his skills and talents. The next 20 (hopefully) years are going to be great with this music, and in my humble opinion as great as starting out with this band called Van Halen that I started listening to in the 80′s..

From what I’ve watched so far this is amazing and it’s great to see Wolf discuss the various kits of Al and seeing Wolf’s reaction to the live performances. And of course his amazing talent on the drums.
