Listened to this CD over the last couple of days. Great stuff. I can recommend it.

Typically, “tribute” discs like this contain versions of the songs where the artists try to put their own take on things. Not this disc. All the songs pretty much stick to the original versions, and (IMO) it’s very well done.

All of these songs were taken from the, “80s Metal Tribute to Van Halen” CD released in 2006. I love the cover of “So This is Love” with Jeff Scott Soto and Blues Saraceno.
