I’ve had this on my “need to see sometime” list since it came out. Haven’t seen it yet, though! Man, I was all over Napster back in its heyday. You could find ANYTHING!

Find the time and watch it, Gilligan. I’ve already watched it twice in 24 hours – it’s THAT good. It’s right up our alley as traders, collectors, music aficionados, audiophiles, fans, etc.
I was never a Napster-er back in the day. I still don’t even do the torrent thing. I’ve always preferred a hard/official disc over a digital file, but I’m slowing coming around – especially when it comes to finding anything that’s old, obscure, not commercially available or to sample something I might want to buy.

The forums I cannot access are “Trade Chat”, “Website Issues” and “2012 Tour”. I started a thread about it around 18 months ago and seem to remember quite a few people were having the same issues. Weird how some have no problems with those forums and some do. I tried three different browsers but nothing worked.

Is there anything VH related in the film?

I saw one funny thing, VH related. Part of the documentary they were discussing the Chat feature in Napster, the screen showed a sample of the Chat and one of the messages that scrolled by said, “DLR needs to be in VH” … it made me laugh. I’ve watch most of Downloaded but want to go back and watch the whole thing. It was very cool.
