I just spoke with that writer over at Esquire. Believe it or not, this info is bogus. He did not interview anyone from Van Halen. No Esquire interview.

Ed and Al look great. Ed should use some damn hair dye though… ha ha.. c’mon Ed the haircut and goatee look awesome (Balance era bro is sweet!!!) but bring back the black hair…
