Considering I do not play guitar, this would be great for a decoration piece

I have played a China-made Kramer 5150 copy. it ooked great but I found it was totally crap when I played it.
cheap wood material, hardware and shitty craft work. it was just a toy.

Its not the guitar at all Frankenstein is a junk piece of crap its the player not the guitar at all , Eddie could pick up a Gremlin and make it sound just like a brand new EVH Wolfgang , I cannot believe people think its a piece of wood that makes the sound ……..its how you play not what you play

I bought my son one of the Wolfgang Stealth copies. After swapping out the tuners and putting on an Original Floyd Rose it’s not a bad guitar. He also changed the toggle and added the kill switch.

Yes, he did. He added one to his first Frankenstein too.

ED could take my guitar (a kleenex box with 6 elastics stretched over it and a paper towel core) and make it sound better than i could if i was playing with all his gear. I’m not a player but i’d be willing to bet my right nut there’s a huge difference between the sound of the china VS the ones Ed plays. Just a thought.

I was lucky enough to play Ed’s Kramer at the Guitar Center in Hollywood once many years ago where they have the rock walk. The guitar that was on display had been recently stolen & had been damaged in the theft. I was told the neck was broken, so they sent it to 5150 for repairs. Ed fixed the guitar & brought it back to GC. I asked about it since it wasn’t on display, & the manager offered to show it to me upstairs. My first impression? What a piece of crap! To hold this guitar & play around with it for a few minutes was surreal. The artist relations manager, that’s what he said his title was, said they had just got it back & no one had handled it since Ed fixed it. I was in awe looking over every detail of it, & couldn’t believe this is what Edward plays. So yeah, it’s definitely not the guitar, it’s the player! Put that guitar in Ed’s hands & it is pure magic!

You also have to consider that a guitar going on a wall doesn’t have to be set up to play well, or even play at all.
