A friend, who is one of the largest collectors of Van Halen stuff bought the Andy Johns DAT Tapes. Anyway I don’t if I will do this right….but I will post where to listen to them on Sound Cloud if I cannot get that right, I’ll post the FB page he started for VH Collectors about 2 months ago. He has posted pictures of a ton of things as have I, and several other folks. If you decide to join our little group, please read the header about posting pictures,….it is pictures in your collection not something you seen on the internet.

Pretty cool to hear those clips this morning. You can hear the subtle difference of crowd noise in the mix and a real treat to hear the two tracks without vocals getting a better sense of what Ed & Al are cooking up.

These sound to me like the re-recordings of Man on a Mission and In and Out for RHRN. In and Out part 1 Sammy says he’s out of here at the end of the song with no audience sound. Cool to hear, thanks for posting!

They’re definitely from RHRN… the studio live album.. The tracks without vocals do sound good.
