I have been converting a bunch of songs to instrumental tracks. It can be interesting to hear the song in a whole new way. I’ve used UVR5 and demucs. I’ve had mixed results. Sometimes it is really, really excellent and sounds awesome, sometime a little less . One track that I’ve been having a lot of problems with is Nazareth, Hair Of The Dog. I seem to be able to get rid of the vocals during the verses (sometimes a little better than other times) but the thing I just can’t do anything about is the vocals during the chorus. There must be something about the pitch or frequency of the vocals. Nothing can isolate them. I’ve tried multiple models within demucs and UVR5 but nothing works.

Anyone done anything like this? Anyone have any suggestions?
