I wrote this for Ed on the day he died. He used to say to Andy Johns (engineer), “Put some cheese on it.” when he wanted more effects on his guitar. 5150 had these giant speakers in the wall up near the ceiling. Ed would look at me and smile and say, “Rich, should we put it top and turn it loud?” He would have me sing a line over and over and say, “Until we get it right do it one more time,” All these things are in this song. He lives on and will be a part of us forever. Lots of love, Rich
