So doen anyone else think that Dave will use this song for his ‘solo’?
Also, will he jump back & forth between Frosty & Ice Cream Man? Musically they are almost the same.

I would love it if he dropped Ice Cream Man & replaced it with Stay Frosty. Frosty’s a better song and it’s a good excuse to get another new song in the set list.

Stay Frosty has a LOT of words for Dave to forget… I’m sure he could pull it off, but Ice Cream Man is Dave’s “moment” and I doubt he’d give it up or do both.

I also need to see Stay Frosty live. It wouldn’t surprise me if Dave started out with Stay Frosty acoustic intro > segue in Ice Cream Man acoustic > Ice Cream Man full band. I still want the whole song to be played, but realistically that may be the best we can expect.

It’s pretty much been assumed that it’s Dave playing the acoustic guitar in “Stay Frosty.”

Dave couldn’t keep up with China Town on the tour most nights. He’d never be able to pull SF off live. I’d just like to hear “LUTS” and “As Is” on the next leg. The soundchecks sounded AWESOME!!

That wasn’t too bad at all. The guitar needed some more balls though.

I remember watching those guys when they played footy… Who knew they had great taste in music. I kind of feel bad for some of the abuse I used to throw at them, now… ;)
