Does anyone have a link for a newer total than the one from last summer that said the album had sold 395k? Certainly the album must be creeping towards gold.

Van Halen finishes up 2012 in the States:
66 INT VAN HALEN DIFFERENT KIND OF TRUTH 411,412
A solid showing.So the album is still selling in small amounts roughly a 1000 a week.
If they tour again and perhaps put out a new album at some point I expect eventually it will go Gold Stateside.

To put it in perspective overall in the usa:

albums selling over 2,000,000 – this year – 2 / last year – 3
albums selling over 1,000,000 – this year – 9 / last year – 11
albums selling over 500,000 – this year – 40 / last year – 45
albums selling over 250,000 – this year – 114 / last year – 128
total albums sales – this year – 306.19m (-5.2%)/ last year – 322.86m
