There is footage of the Billboard Live show on the Van Halen III promotional video released by WB. I have it around here somewhere. No audio. Just some video clips. Greg Phinney “won” the contest to go out there and recorded the show on what I believe was a micro cassette deck. Terrible quality, but as far as I know, it’s the only known recording of the show that made it into circulation.

Cant stand the Cherone era songs but thought the live shows were good. Really liked the mix in the set list.
