Decatone: Maybe that thing in Roth’s hands is a cowbell wrapped in duck tape, isn’t there a couple of songs with a cowbell on the club days? Did notice the marshall head standing on end and a 68 salt n pepper marshall cab. Funny Ed used to say they were pretty strapped for cash but I think his dad got him the gold top les paul in ’74? I remember in the late 70′s marshall’s and gibson’s were way out of reach for poor kids like me LOL.

Nick – it might be a cowbell, but I can’t tell. I did notice the Marshall standing on end. It’s so funny to see the now priceless head treated like it was any other tool. And yes, I had to wait until I was making good money (late 80′s) to afford my 1st Marshall too
