I know that when it comes to cameras at concerts, anything with a detachable lens by a non-professional is prohibited. And, camera policies vary from venue to venue. But, I saw this camera and I’m considering buying it for the Red Rocks show due to the zoom feature: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/other_powershot/powershot_sx400_is It looks like the lens is detachable, but it isn’t, and though it looks like it’s as large as some of the ones used the pros at the foot of the stage, it’s actually fairly small. Has anyone who’s attended the last few shows seen anything similar to this in use by concertgoers? If so, were they hassled by security? And, I’m torn between the one above, and this one here: http://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/coolpix/s/s7000/ Thanks. Vince G.Quote | |
