I’m not sure what the rest said as it’s blurred out but when I was in a band and most other bands I knew, if the guitarist was writing a song and presented it to the band the other members would say ‘what or how would you like me to play’ You’d give them the core notes and an idea of the feel (or a style you’d heard from a record that had influenced you) and the song would grow from there. I also notice in the text that he said ‘he would add to what was given’ this just seems like a million and one other bands way of writing a song …simple as that, I can’t see what all the fuss is about.
