mcs5150: Did you read the article? It mentions that Mike did not call Eddie when Ed got cancer and also did not call when Ed and Al’s mother died. That would piss me off.

My grandmother would tell the story about how my grandfather was in the hospital and nobody came to visit him. My mother would roll her eyes and then tell me later, “That’s because she never told anybody your grandfather was in the hospital.” My point is this – sometimes you don’t always have all the facts, so what seems rude on the face of a statement might not be when you have all the facts.

I suspect we don’t have all the facts. Because by all accounts, Mike not calling would be completely out of character for him.
