VAiN: Paying top dollar for something new that looks old is the exact issue I have as well…I highly recommend EVH gear.. it really is great quality. Some of the new Wolfs are killer guitars for under $1000.

Vain what would you recommend specifically? I don’t even really want to know the answer because I have too many guitars and I don’t play because I don’t have the time. But maybe now is the time to pull the trigger on some EVH. By the way, I’m a huge proponent of buying used gear if the gear is high end gear. My Mayones and one of my Suhrs were both used.
