This one pops up on ebay every few months… very cool piece and the price isn’t too far out of line.. I’d love to get my mitts on it.


Up for sale is a rare Peavey Wolfgang. It was a prototype sent to Eddie before the custom shop opened. I bought it from the Peavey Custom Shop manager and have a letter of authenticity from him. Some of the features include a Semihollow mahogany body with blister maple top, birdseye maple neck with rosewood fretboard, locking nut with fine tune tailpiece (the only peavey to have this, Ed later made it standard on the new EVH wolf), P90 pickups with custom switch ring. The tailpiece is a one of a kind prototype d tuner and works great for instant drop D (precursor to drop2hell).
