Back in 2002, E! (the TV channel) aired the Howard Stern episode where Dave was in the studio and Sammy was on the phone. They mostly talked about the upcoming 2002 “Sam & Dave” tour. At the end of the show, Dave recorded a promo spot.

Anyway, I had this on an old DVR, and it was time to get rid of it (old electronics). Since I couldn’t find it on YouTube, I fired it up, and captured the show.

Question: what should I do with it now? I could burn it to a DVD, but otherwise, I dunno what else to do with it. Can’t put it on YouTube because of the copyright issues, etc… I know it was on a DVD Comp at some point, because I came across mentions of it. This is straight off the air via DirecTV, so the quality is great (for the time) – 4:3 SD, etc…

Any ideas?

BTW: I had to chuckle at all the “Girls Gone Wild” commercials shown on late night TV.

You could also upload it as an MP4 to guitars101.

I think it would be a very popular upload!

MKV it. :)
I am willing to upload the video to Usenet so that it will be archived for at least 10 years.
Thanks Ron!

Voilà!

There’s another three and a half mins worth of stuff at the end of the broadcast. Dave trying to record a promo spot.
