Musically I think it’s pretty cool.. There are some nice riffs on there. I always thought Crossing Over was cool and should have been included with the US release.

Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings.

Thought this was a good album, just dark. Mayby thats what they needed. Where I had to listen to FUCK several times before I like it , I enjoyed this one quickly (except Big Fat Money)

I love how Seventh Seal opens but as others have said Crossing Over should have been on the US release , but it was released on a single I believe

I agree I’m not a fan of Big Fat Money.
I think the album is a bit darker ,word was Ed was angry around this time with Sammy & on the Tour so may be that showed in the music.
Also love the music on Human Beings but not a big fan on the lyrics and we know there was tension between Ed & Sammy around this time.

Only Sam-era CD I ever bought. Haven’t listened to it in many, many years.

very good record, the sound is great, the drums and guitars are top notch !

My favourite are: The seventh seal, Don’T tell me, big fat money, aftershock, feelin.

So far: BIG FAT MONEY, and AFTERSHOCK.

P.S. I listen to the music, and I don’t pay attention to the lyrics. I’m Italian :-)

my favorite cd of all time. me and my wife were just barely married when this cd came out. we saw VH for the first time on this tour. this cd wll always be “our” cd together. we blasted this cd non stop. still do to this day.
my fav songs are
Don’t Tell Me
Amsterdam
Feelin
Not Enough
Crossing Over
Can’t Stop Loving You
(only thing I would change about this cd would’ve been to leave off 1 instrumental and ad 1 more song) but seriously love the dark feel to this album.

ron:

The wine is from the Balance Premier at Air Studios in London in 1995. I know because I was there and I have one in my house unopened in perfect condition. Love this album.

Still remember being at the ‘secret gig’ in Arnhem, where they blasted -what seemed to be a full stadium sound system- in this little club. It seriously damaged my hearing that night, but it was só worth it!

B.

Happy trails to you
