David Lee Roth Signs With ICM Partners (Exclusive)

Diamond Dave is the original and present lead singer of Van Halen.

Legendary rocker David Lee Roth has signed with ICM Partners worldwide in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

As the original lead singer of Van Halen, Roth is the voice behind such American rock classics such as “Runnin’ With the Devil,” the Grammy-nominated “Jump” and “Panama.” The latter two appeared on the 1984 album 1984 and the former on the band’s 1978 self-titled debut, both of which were certified platinum.

Roth went solo in 1985, releasing the EP Crazy From the Heat, which went platinum on the strength of singles such as “California Girls” (which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart) and “Just a Gigolo/I Ain’t Got Nobody.” Subsequent albums Eat ‘Em and Smile and Skyscraper both went platinum as well, followed by 1991′s A Little Ain’t Enough, which was certified gold.

In 2007, Roth rejoined Van Halen, the same year thr group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Van Halen released the comeback album A Different Kind of Truth in 2012 and continues to tour around the world.

Roth continues to be repped by business manager Gerri Leonard of Leonard and Associates.
