“Now that he has landed his dream band, the work begins. “We will give their music the proper push for synchronizations in films, TV and commercials,” Stumpf says. “This is a premium catalog, so we will look for the right films and brand advertisers to place their music with.”

“Jump” was just included in some new sci-fi flick that is coming out later this year. I saw a trailer somewhere.

Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings has acquired Atlas Music Publishing, sources tell Billboard. Braun, whose management clients include Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Zac Brown Band, has been shopping for a publishing company for more than a year, sources say.

Atlas’ songwriter roster includes Brandi Carlile, the most nominated female artist at this weekend’s Grammys, as well as Brian Howe (ex Bad Company), Dan The Automator, Jeff Cohen, and Warren Hayes. The company also retains numerous clients signed or acquired during its first few years, including Toby Gad (John Legend’s “All of Me”) and a good chunk of the Van Halen catalog.
