Ed “this guitar is as important to the music as the songs themselves…I want to play the guitar again people want to see the guitar…”

I hope the Kramer 5150 is also being restored.
Already talk at links as to what songs he is talking about…
Summer Nights
Get Up
MWM
CGTSNM
Fire In the Hole
And the talk of a Hagar come back…..
But great to hear he is interested in the guitar & it sounds like we might see them live again…

EDDIE’S fingers aren’t fingers they are muscle-powered pistons that hammer guitar strings to the fretboard with the force of a rivet gun”.

Definitely cool to see that guitar again. Interesting that he took the EMGs out of it. I wonder when that happened?

Maybe we’ll hear “Me Wise Magic” on the next tour.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

So checking more on the face book page of Jeff Babicz

Jeff Babicz Eddie told me he used a custom Gibson Les Paul equipped with a Steinberger TransTrem for Me Wise Magic.

Jeff Babicz Yes 5150 striped Les Paul, with Steinberger gearless tuners and knife edge nut. Thats the one.

About the Steinberger..

Jeff Babicz Eddie told me he owns seven Steinbergers, but only one w the 5150 faceplate.
Jeff Babicz Oh yeah I remember that pivot plate GL. I’ll have to ask Eddie about that.
Jeff Babicz Duct tape to hold the cover on. The cover mounting screws were loose in the gig bag. The guitar has been in storage since the late ’80′s.
Jeff Babicz yes hard wired to the PU…like the original.

Thanks Pete. Ed’s guitar parts are fine with me. Where did you hear the Sammy coming back rumor/talk?
