I would love to see this also, however, I don’t see it happening. It seems that they won’t even acknowledge the Sammy or Gary era for that matter. Eddie even stopped playing 316 during the guitar solo. I think it’s because they don’t want to support the other eras while Dave’s in the band. They kind of did this when Sammy was in the band as well. They only played a few CVH songs with Sammy, never branching out. I don’t think Sammy wanted to sing the CVH songs and I think he also mentioned not wanting to do the greatest hits volume 1 because the other guys would be getting the cut off of the CVH stuff. I think this holds true now with Dave in concert. He definitely does not want to sing songs from the other eras. Not only would that be promoting something he wasn’t involved in, I don’t think he could pull it off. So I don’t think they’ll ever play anything Sammy or Gary related while Dave’s in the band. Too much pride and ego involved, even if it were just instrumental jams. It’s promoting the other guys. My .02
