The memory and legacy of Edward Van Halen needs to be remembered his genius and inventive expression in music needs to be continued through a dedicated Edward Van Halen Sirius XM Channel. This would be a unique place to learn about music. It would of course highlight his catalog as well as the inspiration and the musicians who were influenced by him and how he affected the musical landscape.

The channel would be centered around education for musicians and fans alike. The importance of music in our lives as well as the technical aspects of Edwards genius would be centerpieces at the channel. The idea of a central place for people to learn about Guitar playing , keyboard playing , Drumming, Learning and playing etc would be a unique place at Sirius XM. There would be NO end to content old and new. All of the great players of today and yesterday could be highlighted. As well as the technical side the less Paul’s , Floyd Rose, Leo Fenders of the world as well as the Steve Vais and Joe Satriannis could be apart do the programming Using them as guests or giving them their own show. Music education has been eliminated from schools . It’s been proven that music education provides an outlet for children and increases one IQ. There is no where on the Sirius channel that highlights the importance of music education and learning.

Great channel I’m listening to it in Australia..
Heaps of cool songs.
Rare live stuff.
They played the Kenny Chesney concert where Ed and al showed up and did YRGM
Hearing Zekke Clarke talk of Ed was sad he was very emotional.

They keep playing the same “rare” songs over and over; “Put Out The Lights”, “Let’s Get Rockin’”, and “Get The Show On The Road”.
