guitard (7354)	How cool would it be if Van Halen let a kid like this perform for one song during the show? Make it a feature at each show where a kid (who obviously has proven his chops on whatever instrument he plays) gets to perform with the band on one song. On top of being pretty much the only major touring hard rock act that allows fans to record shows – this would make Van Halen known as one of the most fan-friendly bands out there. I saw the Steve Miller Band three years ago and Steve brought out a kid who was a member of a project that Steve supports called “Kids Rock Free.” The kid was 11 years old (if I recall) and he got to play guitar on two or three songs, and he even got to do few solos.
