I tried posting this in the Trade Chat forum, but apparently I can’t access that one, so I’ll repost here. I have a DVD on a hard drive (VIDEO_TS folder with files in it) that I need to burn to a DVD. What format do I use in Img Burn to make a DVD that will be playable in a DVD or Bluray player?

If you drop the VIDEO_TS folder into the window under the “Write Files/Folders to Disc” – ImgBurn will correctly assume you want to burn a DVD, and do the rest for you. For maximum compatibility, you should place an empty AUDIO_TS folder in the root of the disc as well.

I love ImgBurn – it’s free, easy, and very intuitive.

That used to be the case. Now if you don’t uncheck the option, it will install OpenCandy on your system.

It’s pretty much a given these days that a free program will come with (typically unwanted) add-ons that you have to opt out of while installing. Some the opt-out processes are a little tricky also.

I still say ImgBurn is free, easy, and very intuitive.
