I realize this may seem like a far out request, but I was watching a little bit of the National Geographic special on the 1980′s with my kids and they were really interested in seeing these games to see what all the fuss was about. 1980/2/22 – USA vs USSR 1980/2/24 – USA vs Finland Back in 2004, before I even had a DVD burner, some kind soul (I can’t remember who) here set me up with a copy of these games as a Christmas present for my bother-in-law. But I didn’t have a burner, so I couldn’t make copies, and I don’t see or talk to my brother-in-law, so I have no way of getting copies from him now that I do.  guitard (7354) | This doesn’t help you … but around 6-7 years ago, I left the tv on all night and when I woke up, ESPN was rebroadcasting the 1980 game with Russia. I immediately fired up the DVDr, but had already missed a good chunk of the beginning of the game. I don’t remember if I ever kept that or not. But there should be some nice copies of it around from that rebroadcast. guitardQuote |

I missed that re-broadcast that Randy was talking about, and I don’t do torrents, so I was hoping someone would have them on DVD and be willing to trade. How about it? | guitard (7354) | The only thing I see in the torrents is an xvid version. That’s kind of like an “mp3″ version of a video. It’s possible to convert it to DVD, but it’s probably not going to look very good. You can watch the xvid version on your computer though – and it will look just fine. Seems like most versions are right around 1GB in size. guitardQuote |

I did not trade for them nor do I remember who it was that was trading them but hopefully someone will step up for you.
