If I had to guess, this is just another copy of the Deuce8pro/Skulljam9 release from a decade ago, with some added “bonus” footage.

Located my Deuce8pro/Skulljam9 copy, and sync them up side-by-side. This 2019 release is different. The video has been slightly zoomed/cropped to remove some of the VHS artifacts at the sides and bottom of the screen. The 2019 version is also “softer”, and almost looks more blurry when directly compared. On it’s own, it looks fine. Here are some captures. Deuce8pro/Skulljam9 on the left, 2019 download on the right.

VOODOO(2374) | I skimmed through one of the video files and randomly found 3-4 spots where there were tracking issues from the tape. I don’t think there is a better quality version of this show than the BTB release.

frankm(4888) | I can not even begin to tell you how many versions of this concert I have. Every one saying it was the best version. At this point, I’m so over it. I am completely uninterested unless it is clearly better, without question. I don’t need yet another version of this show.

omahaswine(79) | Evil Dick has been remastering a ton of shows from various bands lately. No indication on what he is doing to make them better. I think it is just to get more trades. People are falling for it too. I have BTB and Duece8pro and I’m done going after more until there is an official release.
