mikeyV(335) | Is that a whole wall of discs that you have framed ? Uhmmmmm YEAH!!! The 45 picture discs….These are from the Amnesty International Conference 1988 (?) My understanding is that under 10 were pressed for each picture disc.
And the same for every band or musician that was put on a 45. I think Blondie had 8 or 9 picture discs, Metallica had 2 or 3, ABBA had a bunch, Motley Crue had 1 or 2 as did Van Halen. My understanding was that 500 different picture discs were pressed and anywhere from 2-10 of each. No Music just excerpts from the conference. These may have been done to support musicians that were out helping with Amnesty International that year, U2, Springsteen, Sting…..The guy that pressed them was I believe a famous engineer in England during that time period and these are considered bootlegs
