A 5 string Bee??? They must of thought thy were doing a Keith Richards guitar…  These guitars are strung up with one piece of fishing line. For there to only be 5 stings strung up must of been human error because if one string broke, all the strings would come loose. Again its an easy fix (more fishing line) but for those prices, it isn’t really good enough.

ron(11487) | sickman: That sucks. I take it you purchased from a very well known site to buy VH products? I just glued down my neck and all is good but I can understand with the combo of the neck and a broken string I would be disappointed too.
I deliberately didn’t mention the place I purchased from. After contacting them yesterday, I got a good reply, and things are moving along. I’m sure I’ll be very satisfied with the outcome.

Maybe I need to get out a magnifying glass, but mine appears to have 6 individual strings. I’m not a guitar head, but it’s the 2nd string from the top. Just looked at it with a magnifying glass, and sure ’nuff, it’s one piece of string. They must glue them at the headstock and the body, or something, as the other stings don’t appear loose …. yet.
