I’m uploading
Charlotte 7-17-82
Sao Paulo Brazil 1/21/83

Right now. Should have the link for you shortly.

Turns out I was wrong on Buenos Aires 2/11/83 or I’ve misplaced it. So if anyone has that one, London 6/28/79 or Seattle 9/2/82 – I also love to have them.

Big Jon – if you’re willing to swing Chicago 7/10/81, and Birmingham 8/31/81 my way as well – I’d appreciate it.

Thanks georgethree33; appreciate your share very much.

Question: I’m beginning to see more shows in the m4a format lately and I’m not familiar; is this a losless alternative to FLAC or SHN?

I’ll also upload the Charlotte 7-17-82 flac files if you prefer those to George’s iTunes Lossless files.

Regarding Charlotte, do your files include the notes file w/lineage?

Just FYI: m4a is NOT lossless. It’s a compressed MPEG4 format. It’s really no different than an mp3.

I don’t know all the ins-and-outs, but think it can be both?….m4a lossless & m4a (AAC) lossy. Here’s info from apple:
——–

What Is the M4a File Format?
A file saved in the M4a format is known as an Apple lossless audio file.

———
The files that were posted are 25-30mb each, similar to FLAC size.
**** But I know you can also save an .m4a file as AAC (lossy) which is more like mp3 file and much smaller in size.

MIne are LOSSLESS. iTunes doesn’t play well with flac. And actually – there isn’t a history with mine because they were converted to iTunes Lossless format directly from the silvers for these two shows. I thought they were converted FLACs, but they weren’t.

They are LOSSLESS. You’re welcome to enjoy them if you want. If you’d rather find another source, no skin off my teeth.

The only problem I see with M4A lossless audio is the conversion from that format to WAV for CD burning. A lot of people use Traders Little Helper, and TLH doesn’t support M4A files. In fact, I have no idea what to use to convert an M4A file to WAV. Anyone have any advice?
