EDDIE’S fingers aren’t fingers they are muscle-powered pistons that hammer guitar strings to the fretboard with the force of a rivet gun”.

Nah…their just members of the band, you know possible future lead singers. Everyone knows theres no pro shot footage from the 80′s. US festival was just a myth….never happened. This is all photoshopped, yeah thats it photoshopped

I remember seeing them in 1980 and they did this. I was 14 at the time and thought I was going to be in a freakin movie being a speck in the crowd. lol. Not realizing at the time they did this in the next town and the next…

The camera looks like a prop to me. :-P

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

It’s a film camera too, definitely not video.

Dave admitted that they had those guys come out with a fake camera to make people think they were being filmed when they really weren’t. If you go to the archives at JTT I believe the Pacific Titles Archives are still up there that lists all of the film and video footage that was in Noel Monk’s possession when Dave and VH split the first time. There you will find your HOLY GRAIL of Van Halen master footage.

Largo, MD ’80 is probably one that is out there, filmed in-house.

Stupid but true fact. There were cameras at Buffalo 84 show, but not what you think. The footage was used (outside shots and crowd footage) for the movie “Oh God, You Devil” starring George Burns.
