So the owner of the Bills just died (I am a Buffalo resident) at the ripe age of 95.
Watch the sports news for a very amusing story on the future of the Bills in Buffalo….
Too expensive to inherit, the kids don’t want it, people can’t afford it to move it…

kaloway: Too expensive to inherit

Almost happened to the family of George Steinbrenner in 2010 when he died … but they got lucky.

Because of a loophole in the 2010 estate tax law, the Steinbrenner family saved around $500 million in taxes after he died. If he had died in 2009 or 2011, his family would have been subject to a more than a 50 percent federal tax on their inheritance – estimated by Forbes at $1.15 billion. And this made it possible for them to keep the team.
