Gilligan (1518) | Love this one! His flexed muscle-y arm and the sweaty primal scream is awesome. That must be one hell of a note he just struck! GilliganQuote |

wjamflan (1089) | Here’s another great one from the site that Halenberg pointed out. It’s from Toronto (5/15/79). “This hamburger don’t need no helper.” – DLR 5/17/15 wjamflanQuote |

guitard (7354) | Man … they go to Detroit Rock City and that’s the best VH could do? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ DETROIT – MAY 2: David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony of the rock and roll band ‘Van Halen’ pose for a portrait session in a field with scantily clad groupies before their show at the Masonic Temple Theatre on May 2, 1979 in Detroit, Michigan. They weren’t the average groupies that they just happened to hook up with in Detroit. See the pic Ron posted from the Body Shop in LA from ’78 with Milton Berle it says one of the girls names is Michelle and she worked there. So I’m guessing they were hired help in some sort of entertainment capacity their stripper theme being Gypsy girls or whathaveyou since they are photographed again there in Detroit in 1979 and here’s another one from the VHND from 1981. I suggested the VHND should do a full page story about them with all known pictures put together onto one page with a nice in depth background story and interview with the girls if possible explaining more about them. Halenberg (406) | Here’s a crummy screenshot I took from an EBay listing for the Japanese Music Life Magazine. Notice the pic of Dave there and those black n white striped pants I’ve never seen another shot of him with those pants before. He must’ve hardly ever worn them at all. That’s a rare pic to me I just noticed the different pants recently. HalenbergQuote |
