He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 8, 1960, the second youngest of nine children born to Dorothy Moore (Schneider) and Alex Moore Sr, both of whom preceded him in death. Alex graduated from Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati in 1978. Afterwards he pursued his love for music by working on concert tours for many popular rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s. He spent many of those years as a tour manager for Van Halen. When he wasn’t traveling the country, he returned home to enjoy Cincinnati Reds baseball, summer days by the pool, and driving around in his red ’82 Corvette.
