PT5150(6281) | I have already done my view on VH in other topic but here is some more photos and a bit about our day.
I manage to get a Media Pass and had great plans on all things VH..I got into photo pit for 3 songs of Kings Of Chaos but once aerosmith came on security tightened and only one photographer was allowed in there.
As I said was a great day but standing for 11.5 hours is hard work..we moved around a bit and managed to be about 15 people back on Ed’s side..Considereing with the ticket changes 3 times I was one of the first to buy and at one stage had Front Row Eddie’s side.
Must say Aerosmith had a bigger production but they doing about 8 shows here.The stadium was too big for that type of line up as they moved the stage so many times.Bands came form other side of stadium change rooms on golf buggies to back of the stage. The VH tshirts were the same as 2012 ones but had 2013 on them with just Sydney show on the back..Think they were $40..They ran out of VH t’s during the show.
VH looked so happy to be playing again..Noticed al was into a lot more than 2 shows I saw in the US..Ed did about 8 flying Eddie Jumps and wolf seems a lot more relaxed after being out with Tremonti he seems to be adding a lot of bass fills in all the songs..Dave was great.He sounded better than towards the end of 2012 shows…The mix was a little high on the bass were we where but was still great.Whish they had of done a few rare cuts but short set was what we got..May be after next album they come back and do a their own arean tour. Saw at VHND they were wearing matching out ifts like the main charcter in the Stone Movie…It looked cool like a gang or group uniform…
Was great to see them on home soil..
