| ron (12154) | The Mighty Van Halen: One Fan’s Journey ASIN : B0G1KYGKGG I was recently sitting and reminiscing with some old friends when it occurred to me that we all have a story to tell about growing up. A large part of my own story is my favorite band. I purchased a journal, and I began to tell my story using Van Halen as a backdrop. It was very personal. It was also read by some of my closest family and friends. They encouraged me to share it. This journey is intended to remind us all of how important it is to remember the good times. The happy times. The bad times. The sad times. The immaturity and mischief of childhood, as well as the maturity and stoicism of adulthood. We all have a personal story to tell about something. I hope that mine is enjoyed. The Mighty Van Halen: One Fan’s Journey is a passion project. It is a thank-you letter to my favorite band. I encourage everyone who reads it to write a personal memoir of their own and to share it as well. Van Halen fans have a tendency to divide themselves. It is like everything else. Politics. Religion. Even Star Wars. This is simply the story of a young person discovering their favorite band at the age of 12, losing interest as a young adult and rediscovering the band many years later. I now enjoy everything about Van Halen. I regret the years of not appreciating the changes. Regarding what is to come in the future. I will take anything that I can get. Lesson learned. https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Van-Halen-Fans-Journey/dp/B0G1KYGKGG/ ronQuote |
