There’s the perfect examples of why NOT to put shows on Dime. I’ve already seen the new Vegas multi cam on auction sites today. Whats on Ebay is nothing compared to whats on ioffer. When something new goes on dime you can buy it on an auction site or web site in a matter of minutes. I don’t mind buying from filmers, without them our hobby is finished. But this downloading bottom feeding scum is getting out of hand.

The only way to stop shows from being sold is to never release them. Not to a single person – not even to your most trusted friends in the trading community. Sure – these scumbags get them more quickly when they are torrented – but they are going to get them either way IF they are released.

This is nothing new if you surfed ebay in 2000 before torrent sites and dvd bootlegs. You would find just as many VHS bootlegs.I don’t see how this is news or anything new or getting out of hand. The only thing that has changed is they are now dvds and they are out faster as far as when the concert took place to when it up for sale.

People have been selling dvds and bootlegs forever.I use to buy them but I have not in years.Through trades and torrent sites myself and tons of other people have gotten lots of shows and have not had to buy anything in years because of them which is a good thing.I have a feeling way more people get shows for free cause of a torrent sites like dime then that end up buying from auction sites becaue of them.

I don’t see how people buying shows or people selling them affects most of us,I personaly have better things to worry about.Unless you filmed the show or authored the show or are in the band who cares.

There is not much we can do to stop these people accept continue to trade freely and let people know they don’t have to buy shows. If ebay even takes them down they pop up again.I offer does not care and if they the sellers have existing customers they can just email them with there latest list. Also some people use Youtube to advertise boots now.

I just wana say I appreciate what filmers and authors do.I don’t think we should ruin it for everbody that really enjoys these via trade or torrents and not release stuff just because some people need to sell these things to make extra money.

The genie is out of the bottle, and you can’t put it back in, so there is no use thinking otherwise.

The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!

However, on the back cover, it still shows “Silver Stallion”, “vhtrading.com”, and Eruption1962 CoverDesign”. Hopefully it will result in a few people looking up this site and realizing they can get the DVD for free.
